FAQ
Questions owners ask first.
What happens to a sale if the internet drops mid-transaction?
Nothing stops. The register runs off a catalog cached on the tablet, so it keeps scanning, computing change and printing receipts through a brownout. Each sale is queued locally with its own ID and uploaded when the line comes back — and because that ID travels with it, a sale can never be counted twice, even if the tablet retries.
Do I need new hardware to start?
No. cadran runs in the browser on any tablet, laptop or desktop from the last few years. Most shops start on the tablet they already own, add a USB barcode scanner and an 80mm thermal printer, and stop there.
Can you move my products over from a spreadsheet?
Yes — that is part of onboarding, not an add-on. Send us the Excel or CSV file you keep today and we import your products, variants, barcodes and prices for you, then sit with your staff at the counter until the first shift runs clean.
Is this BIR-accredited? Can it print official receipts?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. cadran is an internal monitoring system — it tells you what sold, what is left and what is in the drawer. Your official receipts and invoices stay in whatever process you use today. Anything the register prints is clearly marked as not an official sales invoice, so nobody at the counter can confuse the two.
Can I export my data?
Yes, whenever you want, for as long as you are a customer. Your products, sales and stock history are yours — you can pull them out to a spreadsheet without asking us for permission or paying a fee. We would rather you stayed because the system works than because your data was difficult to retrieve.
What does it cost?
Plans start at ₱999 a month, VAT inclusive. Pay yearly and two months are on us. There is no lock-in and no setup fee — onboarding, the catalog import and staff training are included in every plan.
