Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1. These terms
By creating an account or using moyeu, you agree to these terms. moyeu is operated by moyeu, Philippines (“moyeu”, “we”, “us”). If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. What moyeu is
A subscription point-of-sale, inventory and reporting service for retailers. It includes an offline-capable register that keeps selling during an internet or power interruption and syncs once you are back online.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for every user you create under it, including your staff. Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for what your users do in your account.
4. Trial, subscription and billing
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to begin.
- After the trial, subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the plan rate published on our website. Annual billing is available at a discount.
- Published prices are in Philippine pesos and VAT-inclusive.
- We may change our prices, but not during a billing period you have already paid for. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we cancel your service without cause.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep access until then, and you are not billed again. Cancel from your account settings or by emailing [email protected].
6. Your data, and getting it out
Your business data is yours. We claim no ownership over it and we do not sell it.
You can export your data — including sales, inventory and customer records — in a standard machine-readable format (CSV or Excel) at any time while your subscription is active, directly from the app. After cancellation you retain export access for the retention window described in our Privacy Policy. We will not hold your data hostage over a billing dispute.
You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process, back up and display your data in order to run the service for you.
7. Availability
We work to keep moyeu available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment or service level agreement. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, a failure at our cloud provider, network problems, or causes beyond our reasonable control. We will give advance notice of planned maintenance where we practically can.
The register is designed to keep working offline precisely so that an outage — ours, your internet provider’s, or your power utility’s — does not stop you from selling.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use moyeu to break the law, to store data you have no right to store, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another tenant’s data, to resell the service, or to interfere with its operation. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where continued operation poses a security or legal risk. Except in urgent cases we will warn you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix the problem. You may terminate at any time under section 5.
10. Not a BIR-accredited invoicing system
Read this one carefully. moyeu is an internal sales-monitoring and inventory tool. It is not a BIR-accredited or BIR-registered cash register machine, point-of-sale machine, or computerised accounting system. Receipts it produces are marked “NOT AN OFFICIAL SALES INVOICE” and must not be issued to customers as official receipts or sales invoices.
Meeting your invoicing, registration, bookkeeping and tax obligations — including issuing BIR-compliant receipts through whatever accredited means you use — remains entirely your responsibility. We accept no liability for penalties, assessments or other consequences arising from your tax compliance.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Philippine law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost sales, or lost or corrupted data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use moyeu after a change takes effect means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute falls to the courts of Makati City, and both parties agree to try to resolve it in good faith by discussion first.
